At Sifamo, we’ve been at the forefront of digital innovation for years. With Skilldex, we’ve launched an AI-powered platform to fix one of the most painful challenges in business: hiring and project matching.

But AI isn’t a magic wand — and my goal was to demystify it.

Many still think of AI as this black box that “just works.” I broke that myth early in the keynote.

  • AI is only as good as the data you feed it
  • Supervised learning means training AI to recognize patterns — but it needs clean, well-labeled data
  • Fine-tuning is the secret sauce. It’s how we get AI systems to adapt to real business needs

Data Integrity: More Than GDPR Checkboxes

Data privacy is often reduced to legal jargon. But in practice?

I emphasized that:

  • You should never feed raw or sensitive data directly into AI systems

  • Building trustworthy systems means integrating data governance from day one

I shared how Skilldex automates the entire recruitment and staffing lifecycle using AI:
