We were hiring. A lot.

And still… it wasn’t working.

Every application was a mini project

To get one person through the process, we needed:

  • At least 2 team members (often including a senior dev)
  • Deep tech reviews to validate stack claims
  • Manual scanning of every single CV
  • Internal guesswork to figure out where someone might possibly fit

We weren’t just burning hours — we were burning out. And still, we’d miss critical insights:

“This person says ‘JavaScript’, but do they know React?”
“Is this dev familiar with our DevOps stack or just listing buzzwords?”
“Can they actually contribute in 
week one?”

It was like building IKEA furniture without the manual — with half the screws missing.

And then came sales…

New project request? Awesome.
Now let’s spend 4 hours manually checking 37 team profiles to answer one simple question:

“Do we have someone for this?”

Our “process”:

  • Open Notion or internal Drive
  • CTRL + F: “AWS”
  • CTRL + F: “Kubernetes”
  • CTRL + F: “Vue”

Yeah… not exactly scalable.

We missed great people. We staffed too slow.
And sometimes, we even said no to projects we could’ve won — because we couldn’t see the talent already sitting right in front of us.

That’s when we said: screw this. Let’s build it ourselves.
